About Penworks Plus

Penworks Plus was started as a family business a number of years ago. Marilyn has been a professional painter for many years and Jim was born with wood in his genes. Our family are proud members of the American Association of Woodturners and the Society of Decorative Painters.

Thanks to Jim’s patience and willingness to teach, we now have three generations of wood turners in the family however Marilyn continues to be the only painter. We have all been blessed with artistic genes that continue through the generations. It seems only logical that we would use beautiful exotic woods and burls with their many magnificent colors and exotic grains as our medium of choice to share those artistic talents. Every piece of wood or decoy is a one of a kind piece of art. We will not compromise on quality or service.
